The neighborhood of Atlantic Station has been carefully crafted and is comprised of luxury town homes, apartment developments, and high rise communities. But anyone who has visited the area will affirm that shopping is ultimately the main attraction of the ultra chic neighborhood. Home to uber-popular mega store IKEA, Atlantic Station apartments have been designed with the meticulous shopper in mind.

Teetering on the edge of Midtown, Atlantic Station was crafted as sort of a self-contained "mini-city", with its own cache of stores and businesses. In fact, the neighborhood is such that one would very rarely have to leave for anything. Atlantic Station developers have even provided citizens with a shuttle to connect to Atlanta's MARTA transit system. Divided into three main sections, The Village (home to IKEA), The Commons, and The District, Atlantic Station has a very ordered feel to its streets and overall design. Entrances and exits from the underground parking lots look eerily similar to subway entries. And other elements of the area bear popular metropolitan touches.

Atlantic Station apartments were definitely designed with commerce in mind. That being said, practically all budgets can be satisfied by living in or visiting the neighborhood. Ironically, though Atlantic Station apartments, town homes, and businesses have an upscale feel, the underlying desire to accommodate a large sector of Atlanta's public ultimately shines through.
